For this Sushi lounge we created 2 completely custom 1 3/4" x 3' x 8' solid black walnut doors. Each door weighs a whopping 140lbs. We reinforced the door frame and jam and used 6" Screws to secure them. Here we added real steel rivets on both front and back mimicking the pattern found on traditional ancient Kura Doors or warehouse doors. We also added to the front and backs molded brass dragon head door knockers and custom in house made black walnut door pulls. Stained gently with Rubio intense pre color and sealed with pure 2 c these doors turned out beautifully in matching the ancient Japanese Samurai theme this lounge was after.

This was a very special piece for a very special person. A United States Army Ranger commissioned us with his Army Ranger Crest. He trusted us to make him a weight lifting platform and left it at that. We surrounded his crest with some of the original teke decking from the USS Langley. We created a 52' x 53" mold. Arranged everything as seen and began flooding it with epoxy. This platform was installed and sits in all its glory.

For this project we were tasked with recreating the original brick moulding profile for this historically zoned buildings. Using an original piece of brick molding we re created the profile and made it out of douglas fir just as the original was. We primed and painted for install.

For this project we made 13 custom tables and benches. Stained a new cedar color and sealed with 4 coats of marine varnish. Custom powder coated square tubing bases to compliment. Added adjustable feet to compensate for the sloped grade. We used 1/2" threaded, spaced each post with galvanized washers in order to strengthen the tables.

For this project we only used Ash and Red Oak. We created in house and installed custom mirror frames, mirror overlays, ash counter top glue up, merlot stained slatted bar front, Red oak/Ash plywood wall paneling, red oak wall paneling, custom hutch, red oak shelving, and decorative window frame.

We kicked off this project with a beautiful conference table made from a solid 4'x9' Slab of Monkey Pod shipped directly from the Philippines.  White Oak wall paneling and mahogany slatted wall and accents took over the rest of the space. Project is currently still in progress.

A beautiful 300lb solid brass bell that was on the USS Navy Icebreaker "Glacier" (AGB-4) needed a stand for its new home right by the Capital Building in DC. We used 4x6 solid white oak stained Pecan using Rubio Pure 2C. We used only mortise and tenons here. No screws! Except to mount the C channel. We used 3" C Channel to hang the bell and gave the top support a nice viewing port for the huge original 2" hammer forged nut to be seen. We put heavy duty low profile castors on the bottom of the stand to make this heavy boy mobile.

For Cooper Mill we hand made solid quartersawn white oak tables for both upstairs and downstairs. We made 60" round table tops with folding leaves. We used a natural finish product to complete the tables.

We also made custom white oak plywood bottle risers to fit in a particular space. On the front of the restaurant we made a custom dovetail mahogany menu case with copper flashing.

For this project we ripped overt 1000 individual pieces of 3/4" x 1" poplar slats, stained each piece installed and finished them with polyurethane. We also made sconce plates for the pictured lighting fixtures.

We also made in house shaker style cabinets for two sink areas that were painted black.

Dual 15' long floating shelves were built and installed above the large countertop space.

Lastly, in the basement we built in house 2 large custom caseworl cabinets featuring 1/2' brass rods across all shelves.

For this project we ripped up an existing racquetball court floor and used it to create this accent wall. The curved aspect of the wall features real preserved reindeer moss panels. We hand sanded the wall and applied a finish coat of polyurethane to give it a nice pop.

14 Luxury Townhomes with ompletely custom kitchen all out of white oak. Here we designed and built in house custom hood range vents with brass panel inserts with white oak led lit shelving. For the kitchen island we cladded the front of the island with white oak panelling and solid white oak end panels. Custom made solid white oak columns with brass accents beefs up the island and makes for and absolutely beautiful statement.

The tallest project yet that we have tackled. Measuring in sat 18'6" from floor to ceiling, 13'4" wide and 10" deep.

For this outdoor terrace we made in house Mahogany box beams. We created an angled privacy viewwer and did a custom diamond pattern mahogany panel for the wall and ceiling with recessed led lights

DMV American Millwork isnt just limited to wood. For this project we made 100 yards of planter boxes for a beach front hotel complete with a timed irrigation system, wired for speakers, and wifi extenders and we did it out of wood for the structure and Trex decking for the outside faces. Trex decking offers superior weather protection especially in shore based enviroments.

This custom made fireplace mantle was made using grain selected mahogany, oiled and sealed using Rubio Pure 2c.
